Pretty much you can build ur own hotside for free. And a cheap turbo can be had for under 400 bucks and decap your stock injectors for for free. Wastegates are cheap tuning is cheap if you have access to hp tuners. You can do it for under a grand all day
You always want intake air temp sensor before the meth nozzle is the way ive always read. Ive had mine in the intake in the evap solenoid port but moved it to the charge pipe due to it heat soaking in the intake.
I run 15 psi and taper out to 14 degrees with my cooling mist kit. Id say leave it where its at for now. Put the meth on do a data log see what iat is. Honestly raising boost would make more power probably and i always feel is safer than throwing timing at it. Matts truck just went 9.7x on like 22 psi but on 10* of timing
Thanks for the tips. Im new to hp tuners. I was using efi live before and could never get the car perfectly dialed in at idle and shit. So i just recently made the switch after about 4 years of playing with efi live. I come from the diesel performance side so gas tuning has been a little bit harder. Ill keep trying and posting logs to see what you guys think if thats cool.
